Jemena Northern Gas Pipeline Pty Ltd proposes to construct and operate a high pressure underground gas pipeline between the Amadeus Gas Pipeline at Warrego near Tennant Creek, Northern Territory, to Mount Isa, Queensland.
The Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) decided that the Northern Gas Pipeline required assessment under the Environmental Assessment Act at the level of Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The draft EIS was available for public exhibition between 29 August and 9 October 2016.
The making of the Assessment Report 79 and providing it to the Minister marks the completion of the examination of the final EIS by the NT EPA.
