Overview
The Department of Chief Minister and Cabinet is proposing the construction and operation of a common user ship lift, repair and maintenance facility approximately 700m east of the existing East Arm Wharf and Marine Supply Base in Darwin Harbour.
Why we are consulting
Your feedback plays an important role and will be considered by the NT EPA when finalising the environmental impact assessment (EIS) through additional matters to be addressed in a Supplement to the Draft EIS.
Consultation helps the NT EPA and proponent to identify issues of concern and potential effects, as well as get feedback from stakeholders on project options or potential mitigation measures.
The NT EPA has prepared guidance for making a public submission PDF (729.5 KB) that outlines when comments will be sought, how to make an effective comment and what will happen to your comment.

The NT EPA invites public comment on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (Draft EIS) for the construction and operation of a common user ship lift, repair and maintenance facility in Darwin Harbour.
