Overview
The NT EPA has prepared draft guidance on marine dredging to assist proponents in understanding the main statutory authorisation processes associated with marine dredging activities in Territory waters.
This guidance would replace the NT EPA Guidelines for the Environmental Assessment of Marine Dredging in the Northern Territory published in 2013.
The NT EPA invited comments on the draft guidance during the submission period Monday 11 September 2023 to Friday 20 October 2023.
Feedback plays an important role in the development of guidance on the environmental impact assessment and approval processes in the Northern Territory.
