Overview
The NT EPA invited the public, community and industry to provide comment and feedback on a draft Stormwater Strategy for the Darwin Harbour Region.
The draft Strategy provides a strong basis for improving the quality of stormwater entering Darwin Harbour. The actions outlined in the Strategy are designed to control pollutants at point and widely dispersed sources, and seek solutions to stormwater treatment.
What happens next
The draft Strategy will be amended to take into consideration comments received during the comment period. A final version of the Strategy will be issued in due course.
Once the Strategy is finalised, the NT EPA will develop an Implementation Plan to deliver the Strategy.
