Overview
The proposed action is to clear 4,517 hectares of land on Mathison Station (NT portion 7061, perpetual pastoral lease 1224) for the purpose of growing hay and fodder crops including cavalcade, jarrah, forage sorghum and Rhodes grass.
Statutory notice 28 June 2023
The NT EPA published a statutory notice on 28 June 2023 to invite public comment on a referral for standard assessment, submitted by Pancho Beef to clear 4,517 hectares of land on Mathison Station for the purpose of growing hay and fodder crops including cavalcade, jarrah, forage sorghum and Rhodes grass.
Interested persons were invited to make a submission by 26 July 2023. The NT EPA published the notice in accordance with regulation 52(1) of the Environment Protection Regulations 2020.
