The Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) is inviting the public to provide comments and feedback on the draft General Guidance for Proponents Preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
The NT EPA has developed General Guidance for Proponent Preparing an EIS, outlining the NT EPA’s expectations for the generic information that is required, and the structure, standards and protocols that are expected to be used by all proponents preparing an EIS. Proponents also need to address the specific matters unique to an individual proposal, as outlined in proposal-specific Terms of Reference.
The guidance will remain open and available for public comment until 19 July 2019, and will then by finalised and published on the NT EPA website.
