The NT EPA completed its assessment of the Darwin Pipeline Duplication proposed by Santos NA Barossa Pty Ltd. Assessment report 106 (including a draft environmental approval) PDF (3.8 MB) was provided to the Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water Security on 16 November 2023, under sections 64 and 65 of the Environment Protection Act 2019.
The NT EPA’s assessment process concluded that the proposed action could be carried out in a manner that is environmentally acceptable, subject to the conditions in the draft environmental approval.
