Overview

Lithium Plus Minerals Ltd is proposing to develop the Lei Lithium Project, located approximately 30 km south of Darwin, on parcel 2746 hundred of Hughes on the Cox Peninsula within the Cox-Daly un-incorporated local government area (Mineral Lease Application 33874).

Why we are consulting

Your feedback plays an important role and will be considered by the NT EPA in deciding whether the proposed action requires environmental impact assessment, and if so the required method of assessment.

Consultation helps the NT EPA and proponent to identify issues of concern and potential effects, as well as get feedback from stakeholders on proposal options or potential mitigation measures.

Statutory notice (6 December 2024)

The NT EPA invites public comment on the referral for standard assessment submitted by Lithium Plus Minerals Ltd for the Lei Lithium Project, located approximately 30 km south of Darwin, on parcel 2746 hundred of Hughes on the Cox Peninsula within the Cox-Daly un-incorporated local government area (Mineral Lease Application 33874).

The referral documents can be inspected and obtained below. Interested persons may make a submission by 8 January 2025. The NT EPA publishes this notice in accordance with regulation 51(1) of the Environment Protection Regulations 2020.
