Core Lithium Limited
Core Lithium Limited proposes to develop an open-cut lithium mine targeting a pegmatite deposit containing spodumene (a lithium-bearing ore). Ore would be mined using drilling and blasting methods and processed using dense media separation to produce a higher lithium concentrate. The proposal is located approximately 25km south of the Darwin CBD and 36km by road west of Berry Springs. The mine would operate for three to four years.
The NT EPA assessed the Grants Lithium Project under the Environmental Assessment Act 1982 at the level of an Environmental Impact Statement.
