How to apply for approvals and licences

You can access guides and application forms for environment protection approvals or licences.

Application processing time

Processing time for applications can be significant. This will vary based on the information you give with the application and how complex your proposed activity is.

Licences and approvals take an average of six to eight weeks to assess. It may take up to three months for your application to be processed.

It is recommended you apply for a licence at least 90 business days before the activity starts or the expiry date of an existing approval or licence.

You can apply to have a licensing decision reviewed.

  3. Attach your supporting documents with the form.
  4. Submit your completed application.

Apply to remove or withhold confidential information

You can apply to have a confidential information removed or withheld from the public register.

  3. Attach your supporting documents with the form.
  4. Submit your completed application.
