Project Sea Dragon Pty Ltd
Project Sea Dragon Pty Ltd proposes to establish stage 1 of a prawn aquaculture farm at Legune Station in the Victoria River District, Northern Territory, consisting of 1080 hectares of land-based ponds, 324 hectares of internal recycling ponds, and produce nominally 14 000 tonnes of prawns per annum.
The Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) decided that the project required assessment under the Environmental Assessment Act at the level of Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
The draft EIS was available for public exhibition between 8 October and 2 December 2016.
The making of the Assessment Report 80 and providing it to the Minister marks the completion of the examination of the final EIS by the NT EPA.
