Public Environment Report
Marine Enterprises & Construction Pty Ltd proposed to subdivide Lots A & B (Hundred of Bray), Woods Inlet, Cox Peninsula.
In accordance with the Northern Territory Environmental Assessment Act, a Public Environmental Report (PER) which describes the proposal and its potential environmental impacts was prepared and made available for public review on 21 August 1997.
The outcome of the assessment of the subdivision proposal as described in the PER was that it was unacceptable for reasons relating to access, power and water supply, sewage disposal, and inadequate consideration of land capability and land form.
These matters will be taken into consideration by the Minister when dealing with the application for subdivision submitted in accordance with the Planning Act.
