Overview
Vista Gold Australia Pty Ltd is proposing a number of alterations to the Mount Todd Gold Project, located approximately 55km north-west of Katherine, adjacent to the Edith River. In June 2014, the NT EPA completed its assessment of the Mount Todd Gold Project under the Environmental Assessment Act 1982 and issued Assessment Report 76.
The proposed alterations to the Mount Todd Gold Project include expansions of the waste rock dump and Batman Pit, construction of an additional process water pond and supporting infrastructure including site access roads, stormwater drainage and diversion channels, and accommodation camp.
